Let's think about it.
Was it wise to believe Adam and not going to Noah when Noah was building the ark?
Was it wise to believe only in Noah and not going to Moses when Israels were getting out of Egypt?
Or was it wise to believe only in Moses(the Law) and not going to Jesus when he came to his people?
Who do you think you believed if you were there at each moment?
Please be a wise man.
Please find not just a pastor close to your home but the promised pastor in the Bible.
Religion,
Pastor and Faith
Every time an era became corrupt, the one and only creator, God,
chose one person and told him what would happen in the future. The one chosen
then became a prophet who spoke and wrote on behalf of God. People believed the
prophet, but not the words of God that the prophet spoke.
Much of God’s word was sealed with figurative language and
parables (Hos 12:10; Mt 13:10-11; Rv 5:1). Therefore, no one could know the
Bible before the words (parables) were opened.
Looking at the history of the prophets, Siddhartha of Buddhism was
born about 2,600 years ago, and Confucius of Confucianism was born about 2,500
years ago. Prophets of Christianity such as Isaiah and Jeremiah were born about
2,700 years ago, and Jesus was born about 2,000 years ago. The root of Jesus,
however, goes back about 6,000 years. Isaiah, Siddhartha, and Confucius were
born of man, so they all had the original sin, hereditary sins, and personal
sins. Jesus, however, was the son of God the Creator, born of his seed, so he
did not have any sin (Mt 1:18-23; 3:16-17). God came to Jesus, who did not have
any sins, and became one with him (Jn 1:32-34, 10:30). To Isaiah, Siddhartha,
and Confucius, all of whom had sins, God only revealed himself through his voice
and visions; he did not become one with them.
Originally, the holy God was with Adam, who had no sin (Gn 2), but
God left him when he committed sin (Gn 3, 6). God and Jesus, who have no sins,
want to come back to people and become one with them (Rv 21:1-3). Thus, in order
to forgive the sins of mankind, he made sinless Jesus carry the cross (Is 53; Jn
1:29; Jn 19). Siddhartha, Confucius, and Isaiah neither had the power nor right
to get rid of the sins of mankind, let alone their own.
People who are dying since God has left them to their sins, need
God more than any power or wealth. It is because once a person loses his life,
the power and wealth that he owns also disappear. It is clear that we sinners
need God and Jesus above all things. God’s work is to save people from their
sins by the blood of a righteous man, Jesus. It is also to seize Satan, who
makes people commit sin, and throw him into the Abyss.
The prophets of the Old Testament such as Moses and Isaiah, as
well as Siddhartha and Confucius, prophesied in their religious books that Jesus the Messiah
was coming to this earth. However,
did people believe in Jesus when he came to this earth as prophesied? People
believed in Siddhartha, Confucius, and Moses, but not their words (regarding the
savior Jesus). They believed in their teachers but not their words, which was
the word of God (regarding the promised pastor). Will there be salvation for
believing in just Moses, Isaiah, Siddhartha, or Confucius, without believing in
the physical fulfillment, that is, Jesus, who came to save the sinners, of whom
God prophesied through these men?
Jesus came to this earth just as the prophets (Moses, Isaiah,
Siddhartha, and Confucius) had prophesied, and fulfilled the Old Testament. Then
he prophesied again about the future (i.e. the New Testament). This prophecy was
concerning a promise to send a pastor in his name (Mt 23:39; Jn
14).
God, heaven, and the angels came to Jesus at the First Coming (Mt
3:16-17; 4:17), and Jesus said, ‘No one comes to the Father except through me’
(Jn 14:6). Likewise, today, even if one says he believes in Jesus, if one does
not believe in the word of God (i.e. if he does not believe the promised pastor)
that was spoken through the lips of Jesus, then he cannot come to heaven, God,
or Jesus. This is because heaven, God, and Jesus have come to the one who
overcomes, the promised pastor (Rv 3:12).
Today, those who claim to believe in Jesus but refuse to go to the
pastor promised by him, are just like the people who believed in Moses, Isaiah,
Siddhartha, and Confucius, but not their words (i.e. Messiah Jesus). Also,
believing only in one’s own pastor even when the promised pastor has come is the
same as believing only in Adam and not going to Noah; believing only in Noah and
not going to Moses; and believing only in Moses and not going to Jesus.
